Saturday 5 September 2009: Annual Show of Flowers Fruit & Vegetables.
Also…….handicraft, cookery, photography and children classes. (Note: Children's classes are open to non-members.)
Entry forms must reach Mrs Peedell, 131 Kennington Road, by Wednesday 2 September at the latest (earlier if possible).
The Show takes place in the Village Centre; doors open at 2.15pm.
Admission 50p, children under 16 free.

Sunday 13 September 2009: Coach outing to RHS Hyde Hall Essex and Crews Hill Nurseries.
Bookings
can now be made for the above trip by telephoning the treasurer on
730961. The all inclusive cost is £12.00p payable at the time of
booking and £13.00p for non members. Entry to the gardens is free
under our affiliation to the RHS. You are only paying for the coach.
The
coach will depart from Manor Grove at 8.45am (yes 8.45am) calling at
bus stops through the village. Our plan is to call at Crews Hill,
Enfield, where there are a series of private nurseries and garden
centres and then continue to Hyde Hall for a lunch time arrival with
afternoon visit. At the time of going to press there are plenty
of places!!
