Forthcoming Events:

Wednesday 27 February 2008. Social Evening for members only.
 This event will be held in the Village Centre commencing at 7.30pm, and will include cheese & wine, a quiz and slide show of the holiday to Guernsey in June 2007. If you have any unwanted Xmas presents bring them along and donate them to the raffle!

 
Weds 19 March Village Centre at 7.30pm.
Kathleen Scroggins will be returning and giving a demonstration on flower arrangements. Further details in the March Chronicle.

 
Kennington Horticultural Society Website:
In future you can stay in touch with the KHS with the help of its new web site. You can access it via the Village web site or at www.kenningtonhortsoc.org.uk.

 As well as basic information about the programme, the Annual Show, forthcoming garden visits and holidays, etc. you will also find here newsletters, reports on recent visits and links to other relevant web sites. You can also contribute to it yourself, by sending in photos of your garden or gardening tips for display on the site, as well as comments and suggestions for Society events.

 The site is still being developed, so it may look a bit thin at the moment. However we hope that it will turn into a useful resource for Kennington residents with an interest in gardening. Our thanks to Clive Rodgers for helping develop the site.

 
Programme 2008-2009.
The committee are just finalising the programme and schedule for 2008-09 that commences in April. If you are not a member of the Society and wish to join, contact the treasurer on 730961. You details will be added to the list of members and someone will call on you during March-April. Membership remains at just one £1.00p
