The Society is planning a five-day holiday to Sussex in July 2010, based in the elegant resort town of Eastbourne. The cost, inclusive of coach travel and four nights half board at the 3 star Chatsworth hotel will be approx £ 265.00p Garden admissions are extra and will be about £25.00p. The draft itinerary is as follows:

Friday        King John’s Lodge & garden. Jacobean house & 5 acres of garden including and noted for its herbaceous borders and rose gardens. King John II reported                   to have been imprisoned here by the Black Prince.
