Weds 19 November in Village Centre: 7.30pm:  AGM and talk by Tim Walker: “Plant hunting in Australia” (part 2).
The AGM will start the evening and last about 30 minutes followed by Timothy Walker of Oxford Botanic Garden who will present the second part of his illustrated talk. Timothy gave the first part at last year’s AGM which was excellent. There is no charge for the AGM which is open to all. The admission cost for the talk is £2.00 for members and £3.00p for non members.

Saturday 13 December: Christmas Coach Outing to RHS Wisley
Once again we are utilising our free admission group ticket to Wisley, only the coach being charged for. This is a saving of over £7.00p for non RHS members. Although winter, there is still much to see in the garden and also the new greenhouses. The Wisley shop and plant centre will be decked out for Xmas gifts etc. Demand is likely to be high so early booking is recommended. Places can be booked with the treasurer on 730961 or Maureen Winkfield on 454326. The cost is £10.00p per person. In the first instance this trip is for members only. The coach will commence its pick-up at The Bowyers Arms Radley at 08:20am (yes 8: 20am) calling at bus stops through the village from 8.30am onward from Manor Grove.
