 Wednesday 24 October 2007, Ian Butterfield kicks off our autumn season of talks with a presentation entitled “South West China in Spring” in 3D. This event will be held in the Village Centre commencing at 7.30pm, admission £2.00p including refreshments (£3.00p for non members)

 Weds 21 November: Village Centre at 7.30pm. AGM and illustrated talk by Timothy Walker of the Oxford Botanic Gardens “Plant hunting in Australia” This event will follow the format of previous years with the AGM commencing at 7.30pm, followed by Timothy Walker’s talk at about 8pm or soon after. Tim, whose presentations are always well received, has been a regular speaker for some years and members can look forward to yet another interesting and often witty presentation. Admission for the talk is £2.00p including refreshments, (£3.00p for non members). Why not come along and hear how the society is performing? New members welcome; why not save a quid and join the society?

By the time you read this newsletter after 1 November, we hope to have put together a short break for late May/early June next year, most probably to north Wales. All being well, details will have been announced at the October meeting. If interested further details will be available from the treasurer on 730961.
