Society

Kennington Horticultural Society was founded in 1939. It runs a programme of lectures, visits to gardens, short garden holidays, an annual plant sale in Spring and a show in Autumn. It is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society and the National Chrysanthemum Society. Membership is open to anyone living in Kennington.

Forthcoming events:


Wednesday 17 July.
Evening visit to Green and Gorgeous Flower Farm.
 Depart Health Centre car park at 6.15pm or as otherwise notified by Brian Peedell

Saturday 10 August
Coach outing to West Dean Garden and Chilli Festival, Chichester.
The coach will depart from Manor Grove at 7.45am, calling at bus stops through the village.
